Today I just want to use my blog for some downright bragging… my Mom recently graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN). This alone is an amazing feat… but she did this all the while working full time as a registered nurse already. OH and she also did so well that she made the Dean’s Honour list.
She is such an inspirational Mom – so hard working, always helping others at any opportunity she can get. Personally, I have had a crazy few years and through everything she has been there for not only me but the rest of our growing family as well.
It was a gorgeous Fall day – one of the only beautiful Fall days that we’ve had this month! It’s been so cold and rainy lately. I don’t believe in coincidences, I like to think that the beautiful day was a reward for her hard work, and sign of the bright future ahead! As the saying goes, you can achieve anything you put your mind to. Through focus, persistence, and dedication, you can achieve your goals.
Thank you for being such an amazing role model not only for me but for your Grand kids too!!
